Stone Wing Software License

This Software License governs one-time purchases of Stone Wing, including the $99 Early Bird offer, unless a different written agreement is presented at checkout.
1. License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Spindle & Stone grants the purchaser a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the applicable released edition of Stone Wing for lawful purposes. Ownership of Stone Wing and its source code is not transferred.
2. Early Bird one-time license
The $99 Early Bird purchase is a one-time license to the Stone Wing release or edition identified at the time of purchase. No recurring Stone Wing subscription fee applies to that license.
3. Updates and support
While the licensed edition remains actively supported, the purchaser may receive updates that Spindle & Stone makes generally available to holders of that edition. Updates are provided when and if released. This license does not promise perpetual development, perpetual support, a minimum number of updates, or indefinite compatibility with future operating systems, devices, models, APIs, or third-party services.
Spindle & Stone may modify, replace, suspend, discontinue, or end support for an edition, feature, integration, platform, or service. If support ends, the purchaser retains the license rights already granted to the last applicable version made available to that purchaser, subject to these terms and technical feasibility.
4. Separate products and successor editions
Updates do not necessarily include separately branded products, successor products, optional paid services, add-ons, new editions designated as separate offerings, or third-party services. Those may be offered under separate terms or pricing.
5. Third-party services
Stone Wing can connect to third-party AI providers, APIs, MCP services, models, accounts, hosting, or remote systems. Those services are controlled by their respective providers. Their pricing, free tiers, rate limits, availability, terms, security requirements, and performance may change independently of Stone Wing. Third-party charges are not included unless expressly stated.
6. Acceptable use
You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it, bypass technical restrictions, or use Stone Wing unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.
7. Availability and changes
Stone Wing may evolve over time. Features, integrations, supported platforms, technical requirements, interfaces, and service components may be added, modified, replaced, suspended, or discontinued. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stone Wing is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. No statement in these terms limits statutory consumer guarantees or remedies that apply to you.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spindle & Stone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of Stone Wing or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits it.
10. Termination
The license may be terminated for material breach of these terms where permitted by law. Ending product support is not the same as terminating a purchaser’s existing license rights to the last applicable version made available to them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia, Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply in another jurisdiction.
12. Contact and contract copy
Before paid sales begin, the checkout and confirmation materials will identify the supplier contact details and provide the purchaser with a copy of the applicable contract and purchase terms.
